What is VMware?

VMware is a software platform that enables users to create and operate virtual machines. VMware uses a so-called hypervisor to create and manage the virtual computers. A hypervisor is software that enables multiple operating systems to run independently on the same computer. VMware has been around since 1998 and is today one of the most widely used tools for creating virtual computers. VMware is a very powerful tool and has many uses. VMware can be used to test new operating systems and software before installing them on a physical computer. VMware can also be used to create so-called virtual data centers, where several virtual computers run on the same physical computer. VMware is a very complete tool and has many different functions and settings. However, VMware has a large learning curve and can be difficult to get started with if you are not familiar with how hypervisors work. However, VMware has very good support and documentation.
