What is vSphere?
vSphere is a server virtualization platform that makes it possible to create and manage virtual machines in a simple and efficient way. With vSphere, you can quickly and easily create new virtual machines, install operating systems and applications on them, and then run them on your server. vSphere also makes it possible to manage multiple virtual machines on one server, so-called server virtualization. vSphere has many uses, for example: - As a platform for running different types of services and applications, such as web servers, email servers, databases and so on. - To test new applications and operating systems before installing them on real servers. - To create virtual computers for different users, for example for developers or administrators, who do not need to have access to real computers. - To run several different operating systems on one server, such as Windows and Linux, or to run several different versions of one operating system, such as Windows XP and Windows 7. Compared to other virtualization platforms, vSphere is one of the most advanced and user-friendly. Other platforms, such as Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware Workstation, also have many of the same features as vSphere, but vSphere is easier to use and has more f
