What is Marketing Strategy?
Marketing strategy is a plan for how an organization will achieve its marketing goals. It contains decisions about which goals are to be reached, which funds are to be used and how the budget is to be distributed. Marketing strategy is often a sub-goal in a larger strategic plan. A marketing strategy can contain many different elements, ranging from target group analysis and market research to communication plans and activity plans. It is important that all parts of a marketing strategy are connected and support each other, in order to create consistent and clear marketing. There are many different ways to apply marketing strategy, and it is not always easy to know which method is best for your particular organization. A good marketing strategy is adapted to the organization's size, budget and goals. It is also important that it is flexible and can be adapted to changes in the market. One of the most popular methods of marketing strategy is the AIDA model. AIDA stands for Attention, Interest, Desire and Action.
