What is Digital Strategy?
Digital strategy involves planning and implementing digital marketing campaigns with the aim of achieving the company's goals. This can include everything from planning content and budget to analyzing and optimizing the campaigns afterwards. Digital strategy is often compared to web analytics and web design, but there are important differences. Web design is primarily concerned with creating user-friendly and visually appealing web pages, while web analytics focuses on analyzing user behavior and the user experience. Digital strategy, on the other hand, is about planning and executing digital marketing campaigns aimed at achieving company goals. Digital strategy is a broad competence that often requires knowledge in several different areas, such as marketing, technology and data. A digital strategist is usually responsible for setting goals and budgets for digital campaigns, planning content and analyzing and optimizing the campaigns afterwards. A digital strategist must also have knowledge of various digital tools and platforms, such as social media, search engine optimization and email marketing.
