What is Wireless Networking?
Wireless network technology involves using radio radiation to transfer information between different devices. This is done by using a wireless router that sends and receives signals from different devices. Wireless networks are often used in homes and businesses where there are multiple computers and other devices that need to access the network. Wireless networks are also very useful for mobile devices such as laptops and smartphones that cannot always be connected to a wired network. There are different types of wireless network technologies, but most use the 802.11 wireless standard. This standard defines different ways of transmitting data over radio radiation, and there are different versions of the standard that provide different speeds and ranges. Wireless networks often use several different frequencies to transmit data, and there are different types of devices that use different frequencies. There are several different ways to use wireless networks. The most common is to use them to connect computers and other devices to the Internet, but there are also other uses.
