What is visual design?
Visual design is the artistic and technical process of creating graphic solutions that solve a problem or convey a message. It is a broad field that includes everything from advertising and business logos to digital products and user interfaces. A visual designer must understand how people interact with their surroundings and use that information to create solutions that are user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing, and effective. They must also be able to communicate their ideas clearly and distinctly, either through writing or orally. There are many different tools and techniques that a visual designer can use to create their solutions. These include everything from traditional media such as brush and paper to more modern techniques such as 3D modeling and animation. Visual design is a very broad skill that often overlaps with other areas such as graphic design, user experience (UX) and user interface (UI). These three areas each have their own unique competencies and focus, but they are often interconnected and work together to create the best user experience.
