What is UI design?
UI design, or user interface design, is a field of computer usability that focuses on the design of user interfaces for digital products. UI designers work to create user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing and intuitive user interfaces. They also consider user behaviors and needs when creating user interfaces. UI design is an important skill in many different areas, from web design and mobile application development to game development and the design of medical devices. UI designers often work together with other professional groups such as graphic designers, interaction designers and usability analysts. One of the biggest differences between UI design and other design disciplines is that UI design often focuses on the technical aspect of user interfaces, while other design disciplines often focus on the aesthetic aspect. UI design is also more technically oriented than other design disciplines, as knowledge of various technologies is often required to create user interfaces.
