What is Team Management?

This means creating a structure for how the team should work together, divide tasks and responsibilities, and manage any conflicts. Team management skills are important to ensure that a team functions effectively and that all members feel engaged and motivated. Compared to other competencies, the team management competency is unique because it focuses on creating a structure for how a team should work together. Other competencies that may be relevant to team management are communication skills, problem-solving skills and social skills.
