What is Qualitative Research?
Qualitative research is a method for investigating phenomena in their natural environment. This means researching how people perceive and interpret their surroundings. Qualitative research is subjective and usually involves smaller groups of people. It uses various tools to collect data, such as observations, interviews and document analysis. Qualitative research is often useful for gaining a deeper understanding of a phenomenon. It is also a good tool for identifying new problems and areas for research. However, qualitative research is not always the best method to get an overall picture of a phenomenon, as it is often limited to a smaller group of people.
