Ironstone delivers simple and secure IT solutions to small and medium sized businesses in Norway and Sweden. We build our managed services on Microsoft 365/Azure and deliver state-of-the-art managed services as a service (SaaS). Ironstone has Komplett Group as majority owner, and together with Komplett our mission is to disrupt the IT-market across the Nordics offering bundles of IT-services and devices. We have our offices in central Oslo, as well as in Stockholm.

We are looking for an experienced Azure Team Lead & Architect to lead the delivery (project implementation) of our managed services solutions for SMB and enterprise customer in Norway and Sweden. You will lead a smaller team of experienced Azure technicians. The role will be based in Oslo, Norway. However, remote working is also an option.

The Azure team is responsible for designing and delivery of Ironstone’s managed services, in addition to advisory to customers in cloud strategy and planning for long-term business requirements. Ironstone utilizes the latest technology available and have a close co-operation with Microsoft in regards of new and undisclosed features. We use extensively private previews of new functionality in order to validate and assess capabilities on behalf of our customers. 
Ironstone is unique in the way we deliver cloud-only services and we have zero legacy dependencies to legacy on-premise services.


Azure Team Lead & Architect responsibilities:

Lead a smaller team of Azure technicians
Design and lead cloud transformation projects
Solve complex customer challenges across the entire IT landscape
Assist in pre-sales activities such as making offers and delivering technical assessments
Be the lead in Ironstone for continuous improvement of skills
Take ownership and lead development of various services offered to Ironstones customers
Supporting business development in current and future projects
Validate and assess current and future needs, being able to look at the broad picture and solve challenges
 

Azure Team Lead & Architect requirements:

Experience in IT cloud transformation projects.
Strong customer communication skills, and quality control skills.
Team management experience is an advantage
Must have a solid understanding of business and the IT market
Proven technical skills at a broad level of Azure, this could be certifications or hands-on experience. No formal education is required!
Are passioned about Azure architecture and validation of new services and technologies
Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail
Fluent/advanced Norwegian / Swedish skills
