What is Building automation?
Building automation is a technology used to integrate and control various systems in a building. By using automation, you can streamline and optimize energy consumption and improve user comfort. By integrating systems such as ventilation, heating, cooling, lighting and security systems, buildings can be automated to operate more efficiently. Building automation systems can monitor and control all these systems from a central location, reducing operating costs and increasing energy efficiency. There are various software solutions and systems that offer similar functions to Building automation. Examples of other systems are KNX, BACnet and Modbus. These systems are used to automate and monitor various functions of a building to create a safe and comfortable environment for its users.
