What is Iptables?
Iptables is a program used to manage traffic in a Linux environment. The program is used to control how traffic should be handled by a Linux machine, and can be used to, for example, block certain traffic or redirect traffic. Iptables is a powerful program, and there are many different ways to use it. Iptables can be compared to other programs used to manage traffic in a Linux environment, such as iproute2 and tc.
