What is facilitering?
Facilitation is a process that aims to facilitate and support group processes to achieve desired outcomes. A facilitator is a person responsible for leading and guiding the group through various exercises and discussions to promote collaboration and creativity. Facilitation is often used within organizations to solve problems, make decisions, or plan future actions. There are various methods and techniques used in facilitation, such as brainstorming, group discussions, and consensus decisions. A facilitator needs to have good communication skills, sensitivity, and the ability to create a safe and open atmosphere for the group. There are many different tools and programs that can facilitate the facilitator's work, such as Miro, MURAL, and Zoom. These tools enable virtual facilitation and collaboration, which is especially useful in today's digital work environment.
