What is Cloud Computing?

Cloud Computing is a technology that uses the internet to store, manage and process data. This allows users to access their files from any device that has an internet connection. Cloud computing services can be provided by third parties, allowing companies to focus on their core business instead of managing IT infrastructure. Compared to other technical competencies, Cloud Computing is a relatively new technology. Other technologies that have similar functions are grid computing and cluster computing. Cloud Computing differs from these technologies by offering a flexible and scalable service that is easy to use. Cloud Computing services are also often cheaper than other similar services.
