We are looking for a Software Engineer to join one of our engineering teams in Stockholm.  Our Engineering teams have clear ownership and room to make decisions and priorities for our product. They need great teammates who can help to drive the success even further. This is where we need you!Our engineering departmentWe put a strong emphasis on team collaboration, we work in cross-functional teams, where you are not handed requirements, but rather problems to solve. You engage and take responsibility for your part of the product with your peers.Learning is central to us. We work with small iterations and deploy to production several times a day.Our tech stack consists of:<ul><li>Python</li><li>JavaScript/TypeScript</li><li>React</li><li>Microservice architecture in AWS</li></ul>What you will doYou will join one of our Data Connectors teams, responsible for retrieving our customers' data from various sources into Funnel, making it available for further analyses and enhancements. We work closely with our customers to understand how we can improve our product.You will be responsible for everything from implementation, deployment, and monitoring of the code and we expect you to follow engineering best practices.You will work closely with other adjacent departments such as design and product, as well as our technical support team, where we are responsible for handling technical product support.Who you areYou have a strong drive for customer satisfaction, and you want to contribute to the success of your team! You understand how things work together and you can figure out solutions when things get complicated. You are good at solving problems and making sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently, using the proper data structures and algorithms. We are looking for a senior software engineer to join our data in platform team in Stockholm. We are looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas from a lot of different areas such as distributed computing, large-scale system design and architecture, front-end development, and UI design. This is a group of friendly senior engineers who love working together (as a pair or mob) as well as close-knit collaboration with other development teams in the organization.The team is heavily invested in a microservice architecture in AWS and juggles some 50+ services daily. Making a small change here can have a great impact on cost and performance in the overall system of Funnel. The team makes decisions together and has a lot of freedom in deciding how to do their work best.Here at Funnel, our senior engineers are responsible for everything from designing architecture to deployment, monitoring, and implementation of code. We believe in putting the customer at the heart of everything we do, designing our product to address their needs and exceed their expectations.Who you areYou're pragmatic and prefer making progress step by step. You're humble and you're not afraid to make important decisions. You see challenges as opportunities for growth, embrace learning, and persist in the face of setbacks.We expect you to follow engineering best practices and stay up to date with the latest technologies in the area.
