What is XSD?
XSD is a type of XML Schema Definition, which is a language used to define the structure and content of XML documents. By using XSD, you can specify rules for which elements and attributes can be in an XML document, as well as which data types should be used for different elements. Just like with Adobe Photoshop, there are also other alternatives to XSD to define structures for XML -document. Examples of these are DTD (Document Type Definition) and Relax NG. XSD is considered a more advanced and powerful tool for defining XML structures compared to DTD, which is older and more limited in its capabilities. Relax NG is also a popular solution, but has a slightly different syntax compared to XSD.
