What is Meteor?
Meteor is a JavaScript-based framework for mobile and web application development. It uses a Model View Controller architecture and is written in Node.js. Meteor provides a CLI that enables developers to create, build and deploy applications. Meteor uses MongoDB as a database and is compatible with Android and iOS. Meteor has an active community with several thousand users.
