What is Lisp?
Lisp is a programming language launched in 1958. Lisp is often used to create expert programming systems or to solve mathematical problems. Lisp is a function-oriented language and has a unique syntax. Lisp programmers often use lists to represent data and use list operators to manipulate those lists. Lisp is a very flexible language and there are many different implementations of Lisp.
