Purpose Captario is seeking a curious, innovative, and kind developer to join our global team. Product Our SaaS platform, Captario SUM®, has been developed in partnership with experts from some of the world's largest pharma companies. It offers various challenging development complexities in areas such as user experience, data management, simulations, and intelligence augmentation. The product is already an integral analysis part for many of our customers, but we have a lot of new development and features in the pipeline for the coming years. Team As part of our development team, you will work with a skilled group of developers and data analysts, where we believe in continuous learning. While most of our team is based in Gothenburg, we are a remote-first organization with team members worldwide. Our centrally located office is still used by many as an excellent workspace for creative discussions and social events both on and off work hours. Role You will work within one of our agile product development teams together with other software engineers, researchers, and decision scientists to grow the capabilities and performance of Captario SUM®. Our expectation of you, besides delivering high-quality code, is to take an active part in how we are to design, develop, and test our product. We have a flat development organization where we strongly believe that decisions should be taken by those with the most insight and knowledge. To manage this, you will work closely with Product Management to translate product requirements into robust and scalable product features. Strong programming skills and experience within .NET - Our legacy is C#, but we look more and more towards functional development in F#. Experience or willingness to learn this is of importance. Experience building scalable cloud-based solutions for Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or similar. Experience in managing infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes is a great bonus. If you're interested in full-stack, we are open to that using Typescript in React as our front-end framework. Kick-ass board game skills – would come in handy in between work. Trust We offer the freedom to plan your own time and work with your team, as well as the flexibility to choose your preferred equipment, environment, and way of working. The ability to partly work in Gothenburg is preferred, but we will also consider remote candidates within Europe or US time zones.

ABOUT THE ROLE As a frontend developer at Captario, you will get to work with new technology and complex challenges that are modern and cloud-based. You will be a part of one of our self-organizing teams. You'll get a mentor and all the support you need to get going quickly. You write and maintain testable code. You like to structure your work and take responsibility for what you and your team deliver. The tasks vary and are always interesting and challenging! Responsibilities Discuss user interface ideas and applications within the development team and with external stakeholders Design and develop highly responsive user interface components using react concepts, while ensuring quality and performance. Review requirements and interface designs Work closely with Product Management to translate product requirements into robust and user-friendly product features. Monitor and improve front-end performance. What's needed 2+ years experience in React development and integrating frontends with API:s In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end technologies Experience with user interface design Knowledge of testing frameworks including Jest Excellent troubleshooting skills Experience working in an agile team RELEVANT TECH AREAS React, Redux, TypeScript, CSS, API Integration WHO WE ARE The key to Captario's success lies with our talented employees.
