What is Database Design?
Database design involves planning, developing and administering databases. This includes identifying and analyzing user needs, creating logical and physical databases, and implementing and testing databases. Database design is a very important skill in IT, because databases are the basis for many different types of applications. A well-designed database can facilitate and simplify many different types of processes, while a poorly designed database can lead to inefficiency and inaccurate information.
