What is ABAP?
ABAP is a programming language used primarily to create business applications on various SAP platforms. The language is used to create programs and reports that can handle various business processes within a company. ABAP can also be used to adapt existing SAP applications or create new functions according to the company's needs. There are other programming languages that offer similar functions to ABAP within the SAP environment. Examples of such languages include Java, SQL, and Python. Although ABAP is specifically designed to work with SAP systems, it can be beneficial to have knowledge of other languages to be able to integrate different systems and platforms.
