We are searching for engineers within Mechatronics. As a Mechatronics Engineer at Sigma Industry, you will supply your R&D services to a variety of industries such as Energy, Automotive, Defense, Process Manufacturing, MedTech and others. Our mechatronic engineers main know-how stretches between product and system development, focusing on mechanics, electronics, control theory and software.

Basic qualifications

Level of responsibility:

- You have been working independently in engineering projects with some assistance from senior engineers.
- You are used to document your results; write technical reports and present conclusions to your engineering colleagues.

Level of experience:

- Competent within system modelling and mechanical schematics
- Competent within electronics design
- Competent within mechanical design
- Competent within HW test amd validation
- Advanced beginner within programming (python or similar)

Linguistics:

- Swedish and English (spoken and written)

Preferred additional skills, personal traits, experience:

You recognize yourself as an independent and enthusiastic individual with an academic degree level of B.Sc. or higher. You see yourself as a responsible individual with a high social competence who is a true team player. You have an eye for details, as well as the ability to zoom out to see the bigger picture when needed.
 
Besides this, you have a solid theoretical background and a great understanding of the leading technologies involved in your field of interest. It is also of great importance for you to create an added value in all your deliveries each day.

Mechatronics Engineer (SW)

Sigma Industry har en bred repertoar av kunder inom mekanisk konstruktion, bland annat inom försvarsindustrin. Vi söker nu en mekanikkonstruktör som arbetat några år. Som konsult hos oss kommer du att arbeta med komplexa problem och den senaste tekniken. Du kommer vara en del vad ett större team där ni stöttar och lär av varandra.

Utöver detta hålls seminarier och träffar i egen regi där vi lär oss av varandra, lyssnar på vad andra inom branschen har att förmedla och lära ut, samtidigt som vi knyter sociala band till kollegor och personer inom yrket.

Baskunskaper

Vi ser att nedanstående grundkriterier uppfylles:

- Ingenjörsutbildning (BSc eller MSc) eller motsvarande
- Minst 5 års arbetslivserfarenhet inom mekanisk konstruktion & produktutveckling
- Svenskt medborgarskap
- Goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska i såväl tal som i skrift

Personliga färdigheter, egenskaper, erfarenhet

Vi letar efter dig som brinner för att nyutveckla, du som besitter goda kunskaper inom Siemens NX, du som har bred kompetens inom maskinteknik eller dig som besitter en spetskompetens inom konstruktion. Du har en insikt i vad som krävs för att integrera elektronik eller annan känslig utrustning och tighta och krävande miljöer. Vi ser att du är en målmedveten och driven person som är intresserad av att utvecklas och bidra till kundernas mål och vision, likväl som du är angelägen att medverka till att Sigma uppfyller sina dito. Vi söker också dig som är mångfacetterad och van att anpassa dig efter nya situationer. Som konsult hos oss är du redo att anta utmaningen.
