What personal information do we collect?
We use your personal information to provide our service in accordance with our agreement with you.
INFORMATION THAT YOU PROVIDE TO US
Characteristic of this type of personal data is that it is such that you or your employer actively and voluntarily state on Demando, for example by form or via email.
When you create an account, you must provide information, such as your name, email address and password.
You choose what information you share with you, for example education, compensation, experience, skills, abilities, locations, wishes. You do not have to enter any information other than that required for registration in your candidate profile, but you will get more benefit from Demando if you enter additional information in the profile.
When you or your employer registers as a user of the service, you provide information such as name, e-mail address and password. In addition, the company can voluntarily provide information that contains personal data, e.g. pictures or names in company presentations.
Mail and support
We save information when you use Demando's support or have other contact with Demando. For example, through support matters via chat or email.
We collect information about you when you send, receive or interact with messages sent between candidates and companies. For example, response to a contact request.
Information required for employment gift
When it is time to provide Demando's employment gift, it is required by law, full name, social security number, telephone number, address information, bank details and the like. This is not saved in the service but only in systems necessary to handle corresponding payments.
When you invite others to use Demando, by using Demando's Tip for a Friend function, Demando will save the email address and name of the person who invites and is invited.
INFORMATION COLLECTED WHEN YOU USE DEMANDO
We automatically save certain information when you visit or use Demando.
We save some information about the device you are using and its connection. For example, browsers, operating systems, device information, the page you visited before, searches, logins, and other interactions with Demando.
Information on how to use Demando
When you use Demando, certain information is saved about how you use the service, for example how to navigate and search.
INFORMATION FROM OTHERS
We may also register other information about you based on publicly available information, such as industry, additional contact information.
What do we use personal data for?
In order for us to process personal data, there must be a legal basis. This presupposes that the processing is necessary to fulfill an agreement or a legal obligation. In addition, we may process personal data with your consent or after a balance of interests.
Provide the service
We process your personal data in order to provide the service and communicate with you when you use Demando, for e.g. job matching, communication between candidate, company and Demando and provide support. We process the information in order to fulfill the agreement with you and with the support of this legal basis, we also process information about you, your behavior and interaction on Demando.
We make it possible for you and others to communicate via Demando. For example, through contact requests or messages between companies and candidates. In addition, Demando can contact you via email, chat or through messages via Demando. We also send certain types of notifications, such as information about contact requests, prompts or reminders for replies. You can not opt out of such notifications without deleting your user account. We process the information with support to complete our agreement.
Compliance with laws
We process personal data for the purpose of fulfilling our statutory obligations, for example the Accounting Act. We process the data on the basis that the processing is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation.
Development and improvement of services
We will process your data to better understand how Demando is used, by e.g. to analyze your navigation. We do this to develop, improve and provide a better and more adapted service. We process the information on the basis of a balance of interests.
For statistics and reports
We use data in aggregate form, where the data is not identifiable, to create, use and share statistics. For example, we can generate statistics and reports on Demando users and their wishes. We process the information on the basis of a balance of interests.
We process personal data if we believe it is required for security reasons, to investigate or prevent illegal use or use that is contrary to the user agreement. We process the information on the basis of a balance of interests.
For direct marketing
Demando very rarely sends direct marketing via e-mail, but in the cases we do, we use your information to be able to send newsletters, customized offers and relevant information regarding Demando. We process the data with the support of your consent.
To whom do we share personal information?
Between candidate and company, information is shared through Demando's service that you have entered either in the company or candidate profile or through messages.
We use suppliers for the purpose of delivering services related to our agreement with you. This means that they need access to certain information about you. Examples of such services are data storage, analysis services, CRM, etc. In cases where we use subcontractors, we establish personal data assistant agreements and perform appropriate measures to ensure that these suppliers are subject to confidentiality and are not allowed to use the data for purposes other than providing services to U.S.
To follow law
Personal information may also be disclosed by Demando if it is necessary to comply with applicable legal requirements or requirements from authorities, to safeguard Demando's legal interests or to detect, prevent or draw attention to fraud and other security or technical problems.
For aggregate statistics
We use certain data in aggregate form, where the data are not identifiable, to create and share statistics. For example, we can share statistics and reports on Demando users' requests for geographical location, benefits or salary.
Upon sale or transfer
We may need to provide your personal information to a buyer or potential buyer when selling or transferring Demando. If such an event occurs, we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your information is processed in a manner consistent with this policy.
Where do we process your personal data?
We always strive for your personal data to be processed within the EU / EEA. But if we transfer your personal data to third countries, i.e. countries outside the EU / EEA, we will enter into agreements and take other measures to protect your personal data in accordance with applicable legal requirements. Examples of measures are, for example, Privacy Shield.
As long as your data is saved
We store your personal information for as long as your account exists, as long as it is necessary to carry out our commitment according to agreement or as long as it is required according to statutory storage times. For example. even if you only use Demando when you apply for a new job every few years, we store your information until you decide to close your account.

Demando takes technical and organizational measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity and access to personal data. Only employees who need access to your personal information should have access to it.

You have the right to know what information we have about you
You can find the information stored about you by logging in to Demando. If you want information about what information we have registered about you, a register extract will be submitted within 30 days after you have heard from you.
You have the right to have your personal data corrected
You have the opportunity to change your personal information by logging in to Demando. You also have the right to have incorrect personal information corrected by contacting us.
You have the right to have your personal data deleted ("the right to be forgotten")
You have the opportunity to terminate your account, and thus have your data deleted by logging in to Demando and choosing to terminate your account. However, there may be legal obligations for Demando, which prevent us from immediately deleting parts of your data.
You have the right to have your personal information ported
You have the right to obtain and otherwise use (port) such data that you have provided to us.
You have the right to object to, or restrict the use of personal data
You have the right to object to the processing of personal data carried out on the basis of a balance of interests. If you object to the treatment, we will only continue the treatment if there are legitimate reasons for the treatment that outweigh your interests.
