<h2>What you have…</h2><ul><li>You have at least 5 years of experience in back-end development and you feel comfortable with architecting a platform that will live for years to come.</li><li>You have experience working with Python, Django or other back-end technologies.</li><li>You know how important it is to create a great experience for all types of users.</li><li>You know how to set up CI, pipelines, and unit testing.</li><li>You know how to debug, identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.</li><li>The technology you have worked with in the past is less of a factor than your past experience in general.</li></ul>Strafe is looking for an independent developer that feels comfortable in taking full responsibility for improving our platform.<h2>What you will be doing…</h2><ul><li>Enhancing and improving our web API.</li><li>Continuous integration pipeline development.</li><li>Building a high-quality, tested and reusable platform for future use.</li><li>Ensuring that our infrastructure is robust.</li></ul><h2>What we are looking for…</h2><ul><li>Senior level experience in software development</li><li>Experience with technologies such as Python, Django, AWS, PostgreSQL, Web API’s</li><li>A solid understanding of the web in general, including HTTP, Web API’s, performance, caching.</li><li>Enthusiasm for robust and performant software that will scale with the product.</li><li>Understanding that DevOps is not a title or a task, but a culture</li><li>Teamwork ability</li><li>Continuous improvement-mindset</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li></ul>
