Lingio keeps growing and we are looking for a talented Backend Developer to join our development team. You will help the team build and maintain micro services consumed by our frontend apps. We expect you to write robust and maintainable code in collaboration with your colleagues to enable Lingio to help even more people with lifelong learning at work.

We see that you love taking on difficult challenges. You are adaptable and resourceful and you are able to develop effective solutions to problems. You understand when it's better to go for the quick win and when it's better to drive through a comprehensive technical solution.

Your responsibilities

Building REST-services using Go

Participating in code reviews

Understand requirements and translate them into maintainable and good software solutions

Provide analytical approaches to solve various problems

Troubleshoot issues where needed

Hard Requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering

3+ years of professional development in Go, or another language (like Java) combined with a desire and interest to move into Go.

Experience working with Microservice architecture

Experience of Cloud hosting

Experience of professional development of REST-services

Strong written and communication skills with proven fluency in English

Familiarity with both NoSQL and SQL database technologies

Strong analytical skills

Self-motivated and able to managed your own time effectively

Experience working with a team
