<h2>The Role</h2>We at Cloudist are looking for an experienced, driven and independent Software Engineer to join our journey building green clouds. Our product is built to help our customers manage their IT services (S3, Virtual Machines and so on), designed from the ground up to enable end users to provision what they need, when they need it, in certified green data centers.<h2>The Team</h2>You’ll be an integral part of a small Engineering team who’s building a scalable and flexible platform for managing IT services. You’ll be working most closely with the other engineers in the team, but also with colleagues responsible for operations and sales, to design, develop and deliver our platform. The company is based in Gamla Väster, as centrally located as you can be in Malmö, a literal stone’s throw from Lilla Torg.<h2>Task and Responsibilities</h2>Feature Development – designing and building our upcoming new large initiatives, as well as working iteratively by incrementing the feature set of our current services.Architecture Improvement – as the team grows and product scales, we need to make sure our future product will be ready for the future using patterns and practices that fit our environment.Quality – ensuring we build a product that’s fit for use, solving our customers’ problems without annoyances.Security – building a system that fulfils best practices within secure programming.<h2>Requirements</h2>This is an important role for us. While we can budge on a few of these requirements, you would probably have another “edge” that compensates for you not meeting the list below.<ul><li>A deep knowledge and interest in the field of Software Engineering, having at least eight years of experience</li><li>5+ years of experience writing full stack applications using Node.js and Next.js/React backed by MongoDB (or similar technologies on the front- or backend)</li><li>Experience in assuring quality using automated tests, across the entire scale from unit-level up to e2e-level with browser automation</li><li>Analytical skills to figure out the best way forward, as well as curiosity and inquisitiveness to find the different alternatives</li><li>Permanent work permit in EU and proven experience working in EU-based teams</li></ul>This position is based in our Malmö office; we expect you to be at the office at least 2-3 days per week. This means you either live in the area or are interested in moving here.

We're expanding our team and looking for a Senior Networking and Cybersecurity Engineer who can take charge of our cloud network infrastructure, ensuring that it remains modern, scalable, secure, and highly available.Position Overview: As a Senior Networking and Cybersecurity Engineer, your primary focus will be on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust networking and security solutions for our datacenter environments. You will be a key player in improving the performance, scalability, and security of our cloud services, working with cutting-edge technologies to meet both current and future demands. Key Responsibilities:·         Datacenter Networking Design &amp; Implementation: Architect, deploy, and maintain networking solutions in both the physical and logical layers, ensuring a secure and high-performing environment for our cloud services.·         Presales &amp; Customer Engagement: Collaborate with partners and customers to design cloud networking and security solutions tailored to their needs, offering expert guidance in presale engagements.·         Infrastructure Modernization &amp; Automation: Lead efforts to modernize and automate our network infrastructure, enhancing scalability, performance, and reliability within our datacenters.·         Security Solutions: Implement and manage security measures across our cloud infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and DDoS protection, ensuring compliance with the highest standards of cybersecurity.·         Project Leadership: Serve as the technical project lead for networking and security initiatives, driving projects from conception to implementation. Key Competencies:·         Enterprise Networking: Deep knowledge of enterprise network design and architecture, with the ability to adapt traditional networks to cloud-based environments.·         Internet Networking: Expertise in internet protocols (BGP, Load Balancing, VLANs, etc.), with hands-on experience in NSX-T, firewall, and routing technologies.·         Cybersecurity: Proficiency in implementing cybersecurity solutions including firewalls (FW), intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), identity management (IdP), and DDoS mitigation.·         Cloud Infrastructure: Strong understanding of virtualized environments and experience working with VMware and other cloud technologies.·         Automation: Ability to collaborate with our software development team to integrate networking and security automation, ensuring seamless operations and a cloud experience to our customers.Experience &amp; Qualifications:·         10+ years of experience in senior-level networking roles, ideally in a datacenter or cloud provider environment.·         Substantial hands-on experience with routing protocols (BGP), switching, network virtualization (VMware NSX-T), load balancing, and cybersecurity solutions.·         Familiarity with the following products and vendors is a plus:o   A10 ADCo   Fortineto   Dell PowerSwitch serieso   VMware NSX-TPersonality &amp; Soft Skills:·         A strong passion for continuous learning, with a willingness to evolve and take on new challenges.·         High level of energy, self-motivation, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in our team (seven people currently).·         A solution-oriented mindset with a drive to find innovative approaches to complex problems.Why Join Us?At Cloudist, we’re inspired by the beauty and responsibility symbolized by the Northern Lights.
